sbeadex™ Lightning delivers ultra-fast DNA purification from plant material (leaves and seeds) using a novel binding principle that enables simultaneous DNA binding and washing.  

The patent-pending magnetic bead technology reduces the purification workflow from a 5-step to a 3-step process, typically requiring only 5 minutes from lysate to eluate. This innovation saves up to 40 minutes per sample while minimising liquid and plastic waste, all without compromising yield or DNA quality.

The sbeadex Lightning plant kit is available in two formats: 

  1. Standard version (sbeadex Lightning Plant DNA Kit): 
    Designed for manual or automated DNA extraction from up to 100 mg of fresh plant material. Suitable for use in tubes or 96-well plates. 
  2. HTP (high-throughput) version (sbeadex Lightning Plant HTP DNA Kit): 
    A miniaturised format optimised for 384-well plate processing, using reduced reaction volumes for high-throughput applications.
